1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website and engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. Luxury Decks of Southern Oregon (DBA: Lawcorp Carpentry LLC) is a licensed, insured, and bonded contractor operating in the state of Oregon.
2. Services Provided
We design and build custom decks, covered decks, pergolas, and outdoor living structures using premium composite and natural wood materials. Our services include consultation, design, permitting, construction, and final walkthrough. Specific services and project scope are defined in individual project agreements.
3. Estimates & Quotes
Free estimates provided through our website or Quote Calculator are rough approximations based on the information you provide. They are not binding quotes. A detailed, itemized quote is provided after an on-site consultation. Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Final project pricing is established in a signed project agreement.
4. Project Agreements
Each project is governed by a written agreement that specifies scope of work, materials, timeline, payment schedule, and warranty terms. Any changes to the agreed scope must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties. Work begins only after a signed agreement and required deposit are received.
5. Warranties
Composite decking materials carry manufacturer warranties ranging from 25 to 50 years, valid because we are certified installers for Trex, Fiberon, and TimberTech. We provide a one-year workmanship warranty covering structural issues arising from our installation. Manufacturer warranties are separate from our workmanship warranty and are subject to each manufacturer's terms and conditions.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed under the project agreement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. We are not responsible for damage to existing structures or property caused by pre-existing conditions that were not visible or disclosed at the time of consultation.
7. Payment Terms
Payment schedules are specified in each project agreement. Typically, a deposit is required before materials are ordered, with progress payments tied to project milestones and a final payment due upon completion and walkthrough. Late payments may be subject to fees as specified in the project agreement.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and any project agreements are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of Josephine County or Jackson County, Oregon, depending on the project location.
