Custom Deck Builder in Grants Pass, Oregon
Trex-certified composite deck building for Rogue Valley homeowners

Our Signature Service
Custom deck building is what we do. It's our signature service and the foundation of our business. As the only Trex-certified installer in Grants Pass — also certified for Fiberon and TimberTech — we bring manufacturer-backed expertise to every project, from a small patio deck to a multi-level entertainment space.
Grants Pass sits on the Rogue River at roughly 950 feet, and the climate runs hot and dry in summer with regular stretches above 100°F. Winters are wet, summers are bone dry, and that seasonal swing is what damages decks over the long term. Natural wood swells and shrinks through that cycle and starts to check and cup within a few years. Composite decking doesn't — it holds its shape and color through every season Southern Oregon throws at it.
Dark composite boards get hot enough to be uncomfortable barefoot in the Grants Pass summer sun, and south-facing surfaces fade faster under intense UV exposure. We help you select lighter colors and capped composites with honest UV warranties that hold up better over time, and we pair them with stainless or properly coated fasteners that won't bleed rust within a season or two.
Snow load is light on the Grants Pass valley floor, so framing isn't driven by snow the way it is at elevation. Frost still matters. In Josephine County, footings need to be set below the frost line to avoid heaving over time. We size and place footings accordingly on every project.

Materials & Warranties
We specialize in premium composite decking from three leading manufacturers: Trex, Fiberon, and TimberTech. We're the only Trex-certified installer in Grants Pass, and we're also Fiberon and TimberTech certified. That means every deck we build meets manufacturer specifications — and your warranty is fully protected.
Composite decking offers the look of natural wood without the staining, sealing, or rotting. It's backed by manufacturer warranties of 25 to 50 years on the decking material itself. Because we're certified installers, these warranties are fully valid on every project we complete.

Composite decking is only as good as the installation behind it. Luxury Decks of Southern Oregon is operated by Lawcorp Carpentry LLC, a certified installer for Trex and Fiberon products. That means homeowners get a deck built with recognized materials, proper installation practices, and a contractor who understands the details that affect long-term performance.
Josephine County Code & Permitting
In most cases, if your deck is attached to your house or is more than 30 inches above grade, a building permit is required in Oregon. Freestanding decks under 200 sq ft and less than 30 inches high may be exempt, but requirements vary by jurisdiction.
We handle the entire permitting process for you, whether you're in Grants Pass, Medford, Jacksonville, Ashland, or anywhere else in the Rogue Valley. We'll confirm permit requirements during your consultation and coordinate with the City of Grants Pass Building Division or Josephine County Land Development as needed.
Footings in Josephine County need to be set below the frost line to avoid heaving over time. We size and place footings according to local code requirements on every project, ensuring your deck remains stable and level for decades.
