A creative and fun 2nd-story Trex Enhance composite deck in Grants Pass — under 200 sq ft, but packed with custom problem-solving. The homeowner wanted an emergency escape ladder with a custom hatch built into the deck, which was a real challenge to execute cleanly. We had a custom ladder fabricated and welded, then bolted it directly to the house, and built a flush hatch into the Trex surface with a chrome pull so the escape route is hidden in plain sight. Completed well and the owner was very happy with the result.
